A Month of Christmas

December felt like one long, sparkling celebration of Christmas. From the moment we hung those shiny red bulbs on our tree, the festive cheer never faded. Brayden kept asking, "Is this Christmas again?" and would gleefully announce, "We're still going to have more Christmases!" It was a whirlwind of joy, laughter, and plenty of sugar cookies. We balanced busy nights filled with light shows and friend gatherings with cozy, pajama-clad Christmas days spent mostly on the couch. Looking back at the photos now, I can almost feel the magic all over again. The lights seem to twinkle just as they did then, and I can still hear the giggles and smell the fresh pine scent of our tree. It's bittersweet knowing it's all behind us, but every memory feels like a warm hug. This holiday season was filled with unforgettable moments, from feeding the hungry giraffes at the zoo to leaving out reindeer food on Christmas Eve. There were tears, laughter, and even a few paper-eating mishaps—Skylar got the hang of unwrapping presents quickly, though his favorite part might have been the wrapping itself! As we head into 2014, I'm grateful for the three little blessings who light up our lives. Each Christmas is a chapter in our story, and this one was particularly magical. I hope you found your own share of joy this season too. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and fun-filled New Year. Stay safe, stay wild, and keep smiling! xo (P.S. I wish I could sign this with my usual scribble, but alas, typing will have to do!)
