December felt like one long, sparkling celebration of Christmas. The moment we hung those shiny red bulbs on our tree, it seemed like Christmas was everywhere. Brayden would keep asking, "Is this Christmas again?" with such excitement, as though he couldn't get enough of it. "We're still going to have more Christmases!" he'd declare, his eyes gleaming.
This holiday season was unforgettable. We were constantly on the move—watching light shows, catching up with friends, but also making time to slow down and soak in the magic of Christmas itself. There were days when we barely left our cozy pajamas, just enjoying the warmth and love of the season. It was sweet, sugary, and absolutely wonderful—just how I imagine a perfect holiday should feel.
Looking back at these photos, I can almost feel the joy all over again. I see the twinkling lights, smell the fresh pine scent of the Christmas tree, and hear the cheerful laughter of my family. Even though the holidays are now behind us, they remain vivid in my mind. I’m grateful for another beautiful year and the incredible memories we’ve created together.
I hope these pictures bring a smile to your face too. Our Christmas season was filled with laughter, love, and plenty of festive cheer. From feeding the hungry giraffes at the zoo to leaving out reindeer food on Christmas Eve, every moment was special. And of course, there was the grand reveal of Skylar's first Christmas present—a moment that made everyone laugh and marvel at how quickly he became an expert at tearing open the wrapping paper!
As we step into the new year, I’m reminded of how precious these moments are. Life is fleeting, but the memories we make last forever. I wish you all the same happiness and joy that this season brought to us. Here’s to a fantastic 2014 ahead!
