Rainy days contribute to the development of wheat powdery mildew, according to findings by experts at Agrotechnologies 001 Studio. During a recent field survey, they observed an increase in the disease and warned local authorities to remain vigilant and take necessary preventive measures.
According to the Provincial Planting and Protecting Station under the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, the occurrence of wheat powdery mildew has become more severe in the northern parts of Huaibei and along the northern coast of the province this year. Although the disease rate in fields is high, the overall incidence remains relatively light compared to last year. Weather conditions have played a role—early-season drought and sporadic rain in Huaibei were not favorable for disease spread. However, upcoming rainfall is expected to create more favorable conditions for the disease to thrive.
In the Huaibei region, spring rainfall is typically less than in Huainan, which has led to generally lower disease incidence. Additionally, the low level of pathogen presence in fields over the past two years in Huainan has contributed to reduced infection rates.
Different wheat varieties show varying levels of resistance to powdery mildew. In southern regions of the Huai River, varieties like Yangmai 11 and Yangmai 12 are particularly susceptible. On the other hand, Ningmai 8, Ningmai 9, and Ningmai 13 are more resistant. In the Huaibei area, many wheat varieties are imported from other regions. Popular varieties such as Yannong 19, Shaan 229, and Wanmai 19 are widely planted but are generally susceptible or moderately susceptible to powdery mildew. Farmers should monitor these varieties closely and apply appropriate fungicides when necessary.
Triadimefon is currently considered one of the most effective treatments for controlling wheat powdery mildew. At the beginning of May, the province had already started applying a combination spray for both powdery mildew and scab disease across all areas. For fields with heavy infestations, it is recommended to use 15% triadimefon at a rate of 60 grams per acre, or 12.5% kresoxim-methyl WP at 20–30 grams per acre, mixed with 50 kg of water for spraying. This approach helps manage the disease effectively while minimizing crop damage.
Sterile Container
Medical sterile container is a common medical equipment, mainly used for the storage of instruments in the process of packaging, sterilization, transit, storage, etc.
The sterilization box as a whole is made of anodized aluminum, which provides anti-pressure, moisture-proof and dust-proof protection during sterilization, transportation, transit and use. The sterilization container has good sealing performance, and the sealing ring is made of silicone material:. The safety lock device is locked once to avoid misoperation.
