Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine Formulates 8 Health Care Technical Specifications

The China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine held a press conference in Beijing on the 11th. At the conference, the "Technical Code for Health Care in TCM Health Care" was issued.

According to reports, the TCM Health Care Technical Specification (abbreviated as the standard) is a Chinese medicine standardization project entrusted by the Department of Medical Affairs of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is strictly formulated by the Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine in accordance with the requirements for the establishment of Chinese medicine standards. It is divided into eight volumes of "All-in-one Massage", "Spine Massage", "Children's Massage", "Moxibustion", "Zhushu", "Paste", "Medicine" and "Acupoint Application".

According to Sang Binsheng, deputy director of the Department of Policies and Regulations of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with the improvement of living standards, people’s demand for health care is also growing. Recently, the occurrence of adverse health events in society has occurred to the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The standardization work put forward requirements. The establishment of the norm has adapted to the needs of the society, and it has combed the norms of the operation level.

Xu Zhiren, director of the Department of Medical Administration of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, believes that this specification will not only help promote the original thinking and technological superiority of Chinese medicine and increase the academic influence of Chinese medicine, but also help guide the industry to become more formal.
