The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) stated that risk monitoring of plasticizers has been conducted on related foods and food additives throughout the country. Any phthalate esters found in foods and food additives will be immediately sealed up and found to have been illegally transferred to the judicial authorities for severe punishment.
