Prepare before plugging in:

Cuttings:
Time: Spring in early March, summer in early June, autumn in early September.
Spike cutting: The use of semi-woody shoots and lignification of the current year branches, cut into a leaf and a bud, the length of about 3.5cm, depending on the length of the leaves may be. Each blade retains half of the leaves, using a flat incision, the incision is smooth, and the incision is about 1 mm below the leaf blade;

Post-insert management:
Moisture and moisture management: One week after cutting, on a rainy or sunny morning or evening, the seedbed should be inspected. The moisture content of the matrix is ​​60-70% of the saturated moisture content, and the air relative humidity is more than 95%. After 15 days of cutting, some ears showed rooting. When most of the cuttings begin to grow roots, the moisture content of the substrate should be properly reduced, and it can be maintained at about 40% of the saturated moisture content. At this time, membrane ventilation can be gradually opened to reduce the matrix moisture content. When more than 50% of shoots sprout and new leaves are released, the film can be removed. During this period, care should be taken to keep the substrate moist.
Illumination and temperature management: After cutting with a monolithic greenhouse, in sunny days, especially in summer and autumn, shading nets should be placed on the small arch sheds, and the temperature in the small arch sheds should be controlled below 38°C. After cuttings, before rooting and germinating, they are basically shaded, and the shading rate is 75-90%; after all hairy roots and more than 50% of hair leaves, the small arch sheds are gradually removed and the shading net is removed.
Pest control: mainly anthrax and root rot, generally every 20 days, anthrax and carbendazim spray anthrax control, while the timely removal of diseased plants burned.
Nutrient management: Basic basal fertilizer is not used for cutting. After the hair roots were sprayed, water-soluble fertilizer (0.2% urea) was sprayed to promote the robust growth of cuttings.
Consolidation of seedlings: 20 days or so after the cuttings were introduced, observations of the germination situation of the new shoots were started, and the corresponding rooting conditions were observed. When more than 50% of the shoots are taken out of the shoots and new shoots are grown, the small shed film can be removed and the seedlings can be cultivated.
