1. The main raw materials include 1 kg of peanuts, 1 kg of starch, 1 kg of flour, and a proper amount of salt.
2. The required equipment includes an electric grinder and tofu-making tools.
3. The production method involves soaking 1 kg of selected peanut kernels in warm water overnight. The next day, remove the peanuts, peel off the red skin, add an appropriate amount of water, and grind the pulp using a machine. Then, filter the mixture 2-3 times through fine gauze to remove any residue, resulting in approximately 9 kg of smooth slurry.
Next, mix in 1 kg of starch, 1 kg of flour, and about 100 grams of salt into the slurry. Stir thoroughly until well combined. Pour the mixture into an iron pan and cook over low heat while continuously stirring until the mixture turns white and no liquid remains.
Once ready, quickly pour the hot mixture into a bean curd mold (about 5 cm thick). Cover it with a bean curd cloth, place a lid on top, and put a weight of 15-20 kg on it. Let it press for 30 minutes, then allow it to cool before serving as peanut tofu. This process creates a soft, flavorful tofu-like product made from peanuts, perfect for both savory dishes and snacks. It's a traditional and healthy alternative to regular tofu, offering a unique texture and rich taste.
