1, choose to isolate
The block where the hybrid is prepared is called a hybrid seed production isolation zone. In addition to guaranteeing the safety of the isolation area, the isolation area should also use fertile soil, even fertility, flat terrain, convenient irrigation and drainage, and high-yield and stable production plots that are preserved in droughts and floods; thus ensuring that the plants grow neatly and consistently, and that they are easy to remove and mating in the field. 2, isolation method:

Time isolation. It is to stagger the seeding period of the corn planted in the isolation area with the sowing date of other nearby corns. Generally, the staggered period of spring sowing maize is 35-40 days, and the corn is sowed in summer for 25-30 days. However, it is also necessary to be flexible according to the local natural conditions.
Natural barrier isolation. It is the use of natural barriers such as mountains, houses, and forest belts as isolation to prevent foreign pollen from mixing. Natural barrier isolation areas generally require no less than 80-100m.
High stalk crop isolation. It is to plant high-stemmed crops such as sorghum and hemp seedlings around the isolation zone. However, the number of rows of high-stalk crops should not be too small, and the number of rows of high-stalk crops such as sorghum should not be less than 200 rows, and the spacing of seed production areas should be more than 100 meters. Crops with high stalks should be sown early and managed better so that the plant height of the crop with high stalks exceeds the height of corn at heading.
