From January to November 2011, China's total output value of the pharmaceutical industry reached 1.336608 trillion yuan, an increase of 29.02% over the same period of last year, an increase of 2.31 percentage points over the same period in 2010. In the month of November, China's pharmaceutical industry achieved a total value of 143.447 billion yuan, an increase of 28.2% year-on-year, and the growth rate decreased by 1.51 percentage points from the previous month and 0.48 percentage points from the same period of 2010. From January to November 2011, the total output value of the chemical manufacturing industry was 655.351 billion yuan, an increase of 24.13% over the same period of last year. The growth rate was down 0.08 percentage points from the same period of 2010, and the growth rate rose significantly; the total output value of the Chinese patent medicine manufacturing industry was 310.745 billion yuan. The growth rate was 33.76% year-on-year, an increase of 7.69 percentage points over the same period of 2010. Overall, the growth rate was the fastest in the industry; the total output value of biochemical and biochemical products manufacturing industry was 143.653 billion yuan, an increase of 24% year-on-year, an increase over the same period of 2010. A decrease of 6.99 percentage points represented the largest drop in growth rate.
In November, the total value of chemical manufacturing industry was 68.463 billion yuan, an increase of 22.86% year-on-year, an increase of 7.16 percentage points from the same period of 2010; the total output value of the Chinese patent pharmaceutical industry was 35.697 billion yuan, an increase of 35.94% year-on-year, an increase from 2010. In the same period, it increased by 16.58 percentage points; the total output value of biochemical and biochemical products manufacturing industry was 13.855 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.93%, a decrease of 12.58 percentage points from the same period of 2010.
