Staged tube for good rams

The basic requirement of the ram is that the physique is strong, not fat or thin, energetic, strong sexual desire, and good semen quality.

The quantity and quality of ram semen depends on the full price of the diet and the science and rationality of feeding management. According to research, a ram of 1 ml of ejaculate requires 50 grams of digestible protein. In feeding, diets should be formulated according to the feeding standards. Choose high quality natural or artificial pasture grazing. Supplementary diets should be rich in protein, vitamins and minerals, good quality, easy to digest, small size and good palatability. In terms of management, it is possible to adopt separate group feeding and ensure sufficient exercise capacity. Practice has proved that the best breeding method for rams is grazing plus supplementation. The breeding and management of rams can be divided into two stages: breeding period and non-breeding period.

1. Management of breeding period. The breeding rams of breeding 1-2 times a day and weighing 90-110 kilograms of rams, the breeding period of their rations are: every day, hay (Pin, peanut, sweet potato, corn stalks and wild hybrids Grass made from the sun) free to eat, make up 0.7 to 1 kg of mixed concentrate, 2 eggs and 250 grams of milk.

Feeding management schedule: The rams begin sperm collection one month before breeding to check semen quality. When the spermatozoa is started, sperm is collected once a week, twice a week and once every two days. At the time of breeding, sperm extraction is performed 1 to 2 times a day, and adult rams can collect up to 3 to 4 times daily. Multiple sperm collection intervals of at least 2 hours. For rams with lower semen density, the amount of animal protein and carrots can be increased; for rams with poor sperm motility, it is necessary to increase the amount of exercise. When the amount of grazing activity is insufficient, the amount of exercise can be increased every morning, at regular intervals, at a fixed distance, and at a constant speed. The ram feeding management schedule varies from place to place.

Taking the feeding and management schedule of a sheep farm breeding period as an example, it is described as follows: from 6:00 to 8:00, driving away, from 3000 to 4000 meters; from 8:00 to 9:00, feeding (mixed material 1/2 of the diet, 1 to 2 eggs; 9:00 to 11:00, fine; 11:00 to 14:00, free access to green hay, drinking water; 14:00 to 15:00, Rest in the circle; from 15:00 to 17:00, sperm extraction; 17:00 to 18:00, feeding (half of the diet, 1 to 2 eggs); 18:00 to 20: 00, free access to green hay, drinking water; after 20:00 rest in the circle.

2. Non-breeding period management. In the non-breeding period, although the rams do not have mating tasks, they cannot ignore the feeding and management work. Generally every day sheep feed 2 kg of silage corn, 0.5 to 0.7 kg of mixed concentrate, and 1 to 1.5 kg of hay. Adhere to proper grazing or exercise when the weather is good.
