What is the role of humic acid fertilizer?

The use of peat, lignite and other raw materials, using different production methods to produce a product containing a large number of humic acid and crop growth, development of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and some trace elements, called humic acid fertilizer. Equivalent to an organic-inorganic compound fertilizer. The humic acid fertilizers include ammonium humate, ammonium nitrohumuvate, humic acid, ammonium humate, sodium humate, potassium humate, and ammonium humate with high nitrogen. Its role has the following aspects:

(1) Improve the soil. The application of humic fertilizer can promote the formation of soil aggregate structure, improve soil water retention and fertilizer performance and fertilizer supply performance. Reduce the poisoning of aluminum ions and excessive salt concentration.

(2) Increase effective nutrients. The humic fertilizer itself contains certain available nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and some trace elements, and can promote the effective phosphorus, reduce the fixation of phosphorus, and increase the utilization of phosphate fertilizer.

(3) Stimulate crop growth. The humic fertilizer can strengthen the activity of various enzymes and strengthen the redox process in plants. Therefore, it can promote seed germination, root growth, increase water absorption capacity of roots, increase tillering or branching, and early maturation.
