British researchers studied the effects of commercial enzymes added to growing diets on growth performance and nutritional use of Beijing ducks. Each gram of enzyme preparation contains 4000 units of amylase, 12000 units of protease, and 1600 units of xylanase. In a 42-day growth study, the diet contained 0, 0.375, or 0.5 g/kg of enzyme preparation. As a result, the weight of ducks fed on diets containing enzyme preparations increased by 6%--8%, and the addition of enzyme preparations increased the feed conversion rate. The ileal nitrogen digestibility of ducks fed diet containing 0.5 g/kg enzyme was the highest, and that of ducks fed diets containing 0.5 g/kg enzyme was greater than that of ducks fed diets without enzyme, excretion The amino acid digestibility of the substance is much higher than the estimated ileum value, and the addition of the enzyme preparation can improve ileal amino acid digestibility and exhibit amino acid retention. The results of the study show that adding enzyme preparations to the diet can increase the growth performance, nitrogen and amino acid retention of Beijing ducks.
