The core principle of spray dryer equipment

Among the many drying equipments, spray drying equipment is one of the widely used drying equipment and is a drying equipment for processing solutions, suspensions or mud materials. It can directly dry from liquid into powder, which is the great advantage of spray drying equipment; low thermal efficiency, large volume, low production capacity and high investment are its shortcomings. Spray drying is widely used in chemical, light industry, food and other industries because of its special advantages in powdery products with uniform composition from solution or suspension. In the chemical industry, it is widely used in the dye industry.

The working principle of the spray drying equipment is: spraying the material into droplets by spraying to disperse in the hot air, and the materials are in contact with the hot air in a cocurrent, countercurrent or mixed flow manner, so that the water is quickly evaporated to achieve the purpose of drying.

By using the drying method of the spray drying device, unit operations such as concentration, filtration, and pulverization can be omitted, and a granular product of 30 to 500 μm can be obtained. Moreover, the drying time is short, and the drying time is generally 5 to 30 s. The spray dryer is suitable for the drying of easily dispersible materials in high heat sensitive materials and liquid concentrates, and has good fluidity and fast solubility.

Bancha Tea

Bancha is a Japanese green tea. It is harvested from the second flush of sencha between summer and autumn. (The first flush is harvested for shincha.)

Bancha is harvested from the same tree as sencha grade, but it is plucked later than sencha is, giving it a lower market grade. It is considered to be the lowest grade of green tea. There are 22 grades of bancha. Its flavour is unique, it has a stronger organic straw smell.
