To maintain a compact and bushy shape, regularly pinch back the tips and prune old branches. This encourages branching and prevents leggy growth. You can also use growth regulators like paclobutrazol or chlormequat to control stem elongation. These plants require plenty of sunlight for vibrant blooms; otherwise, the colors may fade. After flowering, reduce watering and prepare for winter. Prune old branches to stimulate new growth and future flowering. Shrimp clothing flowers prefer slightly acidic soil, ideally a mix of humus soil and garden soil in a 3:2 ratio. Adding superphosphate or compound fertilizer during potting helps improve soil fertility. The plant is generally resistant to diseases, but in greenhouse settings, it’s important to monitor for pests like scale insects and spider mites. With proper care, shrimp clothing flowers can thrive and bring beauty to any space.
