In spring rapeseed area, the locusts focused on young pods of rapeseeds in July and August. The early arrival of locusts to fly is related to planting density and local temperature. In the prevention and control, we must master the principles of early treatment, continuous treatment, and total treatment, and eliminate the locust before it is harmed. The rapeseed beds and Honda soil are often kept moist. Before the autumn locusts were relocated, weeded fields and field weeds. After the rapeseed was planted, rapeseed worms were smeared with yellow oil coated with organic oil or petrolatum in rapeseed fields or on open fields. Or use 2.5% deltamethrin 10ppm, 20% cypermethrin emulsion 50ppm and 2.5% enemy white insect powder. The cabbage butterfly (Pieris rapae) has a wide range of distribution. In addition to Guangdong Province, Taiwan and other provinces, the damage is relatively light, the rest of the area is more serious and damage, and is an important pest in the seedling stage of rape. The larvae feed on the mesophyll leaves a thin, transparent epidermis or eat leaves only the petioles, causing the plants to die. The cabbage white butterfly is a generation of pests for more than one year, and rape is mainly from 7th to 9th generation from September to November. The optimum temperature for larval growth is about 25°C, and the optimum humidity is about 76% humidity. Rapeseed fields close to vegetable gardens and residential areas have suffered serious damage due to many insects. Rape fields are cleared of weeds in the winter to eliminate overwintering insects. The spraying should be controlled before the third instar of larvae, generally with 50% dichlorvos EC 1000 times, or 90% crystal trichlorfon 1000 times, 20% cypermethrin emulsion 50ppm and 2.5% trichlorfon powder.
