Mounting position problem of electronic crane scale sensor

The mounting parts of the sensors in the electronic crane scale can be roughly divided into three categories:

1. The sensor is installed in the upper part of the train
This means that the sensor is mounted in a position associated with the trolley. The advantage of this type of installation is that the sensor is away from the lifting items and can be free from the radiant heat. The force of the sensor does not change with the lifting height and is not affected by the friction. The installation method can be used to assemble the hoisting system on a whole frame, and the frame is supported on the trolley by four sensors; or a weighing platform close to the operating room can be used for weighing.

2. The sensor is installed in the hoist system
The sensor is mounted in a hoisting system and can be mounted on the fixed end of the wire rope or at the fixed pulley shaft.

Because of the convenient installation, the sensor at the fixed pulley shaft can be far away from the hot hoisting material, and is currently used more commonly. However, since the magnitude of the force applied to the sensor is related to the frictional moment and the lifting height, this type of installation causes an error.

3. The sensor is installed in the lower part
In this way, the sensor will bear the full load and is not affected by the friction and height. However, it should be taken care not to cause excessive overload due to the impact of the cable pull or lifting moment, and also pay attention to the safety of the cable. In addition, this method of installation makes the sensor too close to the hanging object and therefore should not be used on cranes that carry hot items.

It is the easiest way to mount the sensor below the moving pulley shaft and above the hook.

In addition, there is a shaft type sensor that can replace the shafts on the hooks of the moving and fixed pulleys and the electronic hook scale, which are convenient to install and use. The sensor itself has high precision and good lateral force resistance. Therefore, it is a good choice to use this type of sensor!
