Blindly purchasing imported instruments and superstitious "Hehuaque" and "Pangolin" are no different

Recently, a news about the Wohuaque has exploded the Internet. More than a decade ago, the Hehuaque, which was still in the state of “no danger”, was eaten by human beings as “extremely dangerous” and was only one step away from “extinction in the wild”. In the past 13 years, the name of the yellow-breasted Hehuaque has experienced a "five-level jump": in 2004, from "no danger" to "near-risk", in 2008 "easy", in 2013 "endangered", until now "extremely dangerous."
The reason is only because the human bird thinks that this is similar to the sparrow, "reinforcing the kidney and strengthening the yang", "the heavenly ginseng". Extremely ridiculous and sad. Reminiscent of the pangolins that have been reported, but also because they are superstitious about their so-called efficacy, they are "eaten". However, the armor of the pangolin is no different from the nails of human beings.

As an instrument industry, especially the chromatograph instrument practitioners, in the eyes of Lu Chuang Analytical Instrument Co., Ltd., superstitious foreign "big brands", in fact, and superstition Wohua bird, pangolin, and no difference.
Nearly all of the high-end, large-scale instruments and equipment used in China's major scientific research units, schools, and enterprises rely on imports. At the same time, foreign companies also account for more than 60% of domestic mid-range products and many key components market.
It is true that the overall performance of foreign instruments is superior to our domestic brands in terms of performance. Therefore, some laboratories or experimental projects that require high precision are more inclined to international big names. However, in the case of domestic instruments, it is still too superstitious to look at foreign brands and disregard domestic instruments.
It has to be acknowledged that most of the relevant manufacturers in China's instrument industry are at the low-end level, vying for the market with “price wars”, insufficient investment in scientific research, and low-end technology content. Many instruments are really inferior to foreign brands.
However, we must not only see the inadequacy of domestically produced instruments, but also see their development and progress.
In recent years, national policies have been steadily tilting toward the direction of scientific research and technology. Most instrumentation-related enterprises have also increased their investment in scientific research under the encouragement of policies, contributing to the development of China's instrument industry. For example, the instruments developed by the companies such as Concentration Technology, Shandong Luchuang, Tianrui Instrument Jinan Haiguang, etc. have reached the international level and received recognition from peers.
Then, when the state and instrument manufacturers continue to work hard for the development of scientific instruments in China, can our instrument buyers and users also contribute to domestic instruments? At the very least, when domestically produced instruments can meet the experimental requirements, don't blindly pursue foreign brands.
