1. The selection base of organic rice production base must have a good ecological environment, suitable temperature, sufficient sunlight, adequate rainfall, deep soil layer, high organic matter content, fresh air, and pure water quality as the production base. At the same time, we must fully consider the impact of adjacent plots and surrounding environment on the base. Must be away from sources of pollution, such as: chemical plants, cement plants, phosphate fertilizer plants and other polluting factories. In order to ensure that the base meets the basic conditions for organic rice production, the surrounding environment (air, soil, and water quality) of the site must be monitored by the designated department of the Organic Food Development Center of the State Environmental Protection Administration. The atmosphere was inspected according to the "Ambient Air Quality Standard GB3095-1996", and the soil was tested according to "Soil Environmental Quality Standard GB15618-1995". The water quality was tested in accordance with "Farm Water Quality Standard GB5084-92". At the same time, there must be certain protective measures around the base to avoid inflow or infiltration of pesticides, fertilizers, and water from conventional fields into organic fields. 2. During the conversion period, the production of organic rice must go through a conversion period. The conversion period of old rice fields should not be less than 24 months. Paddy fields newly planted or abandoned for many years must enter the organic rice production after a conversion period of at least 12 months. No chemically synthesized fertilizers, pesticides, plant growth regulators, etc. are allowed during the conversion. 3. Species selection requires the use of organic seeds. In the case of uncertified organic seeds (the initial stage of organic rice production), normal seeds that have not been treated with prohibited substances may be used. Whether it is organic seeds or conventional seeds, high-quality varieties that are resistant to pests and diseases should be selected to suit the local soil and climate. It is forbidden to use any genetically modified seeds. 4. The fertilization principle for fertilizing organic rice in soil is to prohibit the use of all synthetic fertilizers, plant growth regulators, sewage and sludge. It is necessary to create benign nutrient cycling conditions for agroecosystems, develop and utilize local sources of organic fertilizers, reasonably recycle organic materials (harmlessly treated), commodity organic fertilizers, cake pancakes, etc., as well as limit the use of rock phosphate, lignite, Peat and weathered coal are used as auxiliary fertilizers. Organic fertilizer: refers to a large number of animal and plant residues, excretions, etc., and is treated to be harmless. Commodity organic fertilizer: refers to the animal and plant residues, excretions, industrial organics without additives, preservatives, and fertilizers processed from by-products. 5. Prevention and control of diseases, pests, and weeds The proper management of the ecological environment of paddy fields is performed through natural means of agriculture. For example, measures such as selecting disease-resistant varieties, fertilizing soil, and manual weeding are effective measures to reduce the harm caused by pests and weeds. These are organic rice. The basis for comprehensive prevention and control of pests in production. Insect pests: Manually kill and use plant insecticides, allowing the use of sex attractants in traps. Diseases: In addition to the selection of disease-resistant varieties and the strengthening of field management, the use of lime, Bordeaux mixture, and other sulfur-containing or copper-containing substances are permitted to be used to control diseases. Grass damage: manual weeding and mechanical weeding or straw weeding. The use of chemical synthetic substances and genetic engineering products is prohibited. 6. Harvesting, processing, and packaging are harvested at an appropriate time, so that they can be harvested in single, single, single threshing, and single storage (storage of rice warehouses is not carried out together with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and other harmful substances) to avoid contamination. The rice processing workshop is preferably a dedicated workshop. There is no dedicated workshop to strictly clean up after processing, and prevent pollution and miscellaneous. The packaging uses non-contaminated cartons, straw bags, etc., and no chemical substances such as insect repellents and preservatives are allowed in the packaging.
